😊: When we arrived, there was an overpowering smell (possibly previous occupants cooking) and we were unable to remain. Because there were no windows (only one sliding door) there was no ability to air it out with any cross breeze. As such we left and forfeited the cost of two nights' accommodation (and rebooked two nights in another hotel). The property manager said they would check out the issue of the smell and get back to us - but he never did. We did realize it was our decision to leave and there was no obligation for a refund of the accommodation cost, but we did request the cleaning fee be refunded (as we had only been in the place for 5 minutes). Again, the property manager did not reply until we indicated we would complain to Booking.com. Then we got a terse reply that the accommodation had been used - which was a lie. I just hope the cleaning fee did go to the cleaner and was not pocketed by an unscrupulous and dishonest property manager.. 😢: I agree with a previous review - the loft is not suitable as a bedroom. It is too low and the lack of a proper bedframe means it should not be called a bedroom. The outdoor area is full of weeds and unsightly. The photos of the property are misleading to entire complex is old and worn,.

😊: Very clean and well equipped. 😢: The double bed is a mattress on the floor of a mezzanine with NOT enough head space to sit up in bed; climb up the ladder and crawl into bed, watch out for your head! Then there is the incessant mechanical throb that could be heard the entire night (only audible from the bed, probably because of the proximity of the ceiling/floor of the apartment above. The security deposit of €350 seems ridiculous, no other apartment has ever asked for a security deposit in a cumulative 24 months of staying in Europe and mostly going through Booking.com..
