😊: Lovely location , open the windows and the bay opens up , fab to watch the sun rise over the sea . Comfortable immaculate apartment and the park was a real bonus . Host very helpful and greeted us on arrival .. 😢: A little noisy with daytime traffic with windows open but very quiet at night ..

😊: Location is great - it is in vicinity of numerous F&B options and right by the sea. Private parking and other onsite facilities were also a bonus.. 😢: Our experience with the host was somewhat disappointing. Check-in took over 40 minutes, during which the host went into excessive detail about every appliance and house rule — even explaining basic things like which tap is hot and which is cold. This was quite exhausting as we had just arrived at the accommodation following a long drive and we had a clearly restless toddler. We would have expected most of these things to be in writing, which would have been helpful especially given that the host speaks no English at all (more on this below). Communication was very difficult, as the host claimed not to speak any English. On one occasion, it took over a day to get a response to a simple question about whether additional trash bags could be provided. The host was also defensive when we raised concerns. For example, when we asked why there was an extra charge for our 2-year-old despite no additional bedding being requested/provided, she insisted on the fee which we accepted in the end but went on with a lecture on why this is required. Only after some back and forth did she provide a crib as she was confused why we would need this if we had an inflatable bed (which I told her we had) but we would not use as she is charging us regardless. Overall, the combination of slow communication, defensiveness, and rigid rules made the stay frustrating and less welcoming than expected..

😊: Great appartement at the port of Cancale, very close to restaurants and shops. It was very fresh and modern, everything was brand new. The hostess was very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know. An added bonus was the private parking area in the backyard of the appartement.. 😢: There was no place to sit outside the appartment, because the backyard was filled with cars. So if you want to enjoy the sun you have to sit out front by the main road..

😊: The property was immaculate and there was nothing more that we could have wished for.. 😢: Nothing.
