The apartment itself is nice and well equipped. It is located in the attic, so it can get quite warm on hot days, and the sloping ceilings limit the space a little. It is comfortable for two people and fine for four for a short stay. The staircase is narrow and winding, and there is no lift, which can be challenging with larger luggage. 😢: Out of the five studios I stayed at during my trip to France, this was the only place that required a 150-euro deposit in advance, refusing to send check-in instructions until it was paid. It was also the only place that charged an extra 10 euros just to prepare the bedding for the sofa bed. While the location was decent and having a large underground parking lot right next door was convenient, the studio itself was on the top floor of a building with no elevator. We had to climb a very narrow, unlit spiral staircase, and it was an absolute nightmare carrying our heavy suitcases up. Since they demanded both a deposit and a bedding fee, I expected a spotless room, but every piece of furniture was covered in a layer of dust. The dining table hadn't even been wiped underneath the place mats, and basic supplies like dish soap or laundry detergent were completely missing from the kitchen. Arriving late at night and struggling up the dark stairs was exhausting enough, but having to immediately start cleaning the place with wet wipes the moment we walked in was infuriating. The lack of cleanliness made us so anxious about the beds that we had to spray bedbug repellent all over. We only used the main bed and didn't even dare to sit on the sofa bed, despite having paid extra for it. The only positive was that the deposit was refunded as promised..
