La Bastide des Milles

Perfect home for holiday with family. House was very well equipped, in a quiet and lovely environment and the host, Florent, was very nice. Heated pool was pleasant even end of March.

We had a wonderful stay! The house and the grounds are very well maintained. The house is conveniently located. From there we could explore the entire Luberon without spending too much time commuting. We will certainly come back!

My husband and I, along with our adult children and their partners, had a wonderful stay at La Bastide. We hoped for a peaceful, relaxed, holiday by the pool and were not disappointed. La Bastide is in a beautiful countryside setting, but it's still very easy to get to Apt for supermarket, restaurants, bakeries etc., as well as the wonderful Saturday morning market. La Bastide itself was perfect for our needs. We had some hot weather whilst staying (30C or more most days) and were very glad of the air conditioning, which made the interior very comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms were not quite so cool at night, but still much better than they would have been without air con! The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms clean and well appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped for our needs - and we made full use of the ice dispenser in the fridge! (I especially appreciated the fact that we were given the option to compost our food waste, and that it was easy to do and explained clearly - so often in holiday homes I feel guilty for throwing so much away, but this time I had no need to feel guilty) We had plenty of space to spread out, both inside and outside, and we all gathered around the table in the evenings for a meal and to play cards. Florent was an excellent host, with helpful suggestions and answers to our questions. We would definitely recommend La Bastide!

The Bastide is very spacious and so conveniently located close to Apt and Bonnieux. If you are going to cook, being close to the stores of Apt is a huge advantage - and the kitchen is pretty well equipped. The range is great! The dining area is nice too. The table on the patio is a great place to hang out. The pool is awesome and heated (not too warm but just enough). The yard is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The beds are comfortable although the bedrooms upstairs don’t really get cool from the one air conditioning unit up there - so it might be very warm in the summer. The downstairs bedroom is cooler, and the shower is fantastic. In that bedroom, it’s nice to open the doors to the patio. Note that there are no screens on any of the windows - so we didn’t open them at night due to mosquito concerns. The only upgrades I would suggest is for the furniture in the small living room, which isn’t that comfortable for lounging - and a rug in there would make it more inviting and cozy. (But I realize tile floors are the norm!) Florent and Emmanuel were gracious hosts and very attentive to our needs and questions.

Florent hat uns in seinem Haus sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Er war immer sofort für uns da, wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Wir haben in kürzester Zeit einen zweiten Sonnenschirm für den Pool Bereich bekommen. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen. Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit einer schatten spendenden Markise und viele weitere Plätze, an denen man es sich gemütlich machen kann. Es ist außerdem sehr ruhig. Viel Freude hatten wir auch an dem Boule Platz. Wir werden auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Villa à proximité d'Apt sans vis-à-vis, au calme et offrant une jolie vue sur le jardin et la campagne avoisinante. A l'intérieur, beaucoup de confort grâce à son équipement complet (dont belle cuisine), à la climatisation et aux 3 sdb. Pour les repas, au choix la belle terrasse devant le séjour/cuisine ou la table sous les arbres à côté de la cuisine d'été et du jeu de boules. Les principaux sites du Luberon sont facilement accessibles. Pour finir, saluons le chaleureux accueil de Florent (et Emmanuelle) disponible et plein d'attention.

La maison est idéalement placée pour découvrir une région au patrimoine d'une richesse incroyable. Tout est mis en oeuvre pour assurer le confort des hôtes et l'accueil chaleureux du propriétaire, toujours à l'écoute, ajoute encore à la qualité du séjour. Le fait que le très grand jardin soit clos est également très agréable, quant à la piscine chauffée, c'est un vrai bonus : nous avons pu en profiter tous les jours alors que nous séjournions fin Septembre ! Nous reviendrons...

Nous venons de passer un excellent week-end entre amis. La maison est vraiment belle, beaucoup plus en réalité que sur les photos ! C’était très propre et le terrain avec la vue sur la piscine est juste magnifique 😊 Cette propriété remplit tous les critères pour passer un excellent séjour en famille ou entre amis 🙂 Piscine sécurisée avec portillon, terrain de boules, cuisine d’été, barbecue, four à pizza, cage de foot, cabane et balançoire pour les enfants 🤗 Nous avons été accueillis par Florent qui a était d’une très grande gentillesse et très arrangeant sur l’horaire d’arrivée et de départ 👌 Nous reviendrons avec plaisir tout été parfait 🤗
