The location is excellent, the cleanliness of the apartment is fine A really nice apartment and a spoon for children The service is excellent, there was a problem with the Kesher kettle, they came and replaced it, there was always a happy response

4th floor apt in the heart of Chamonix Center across from the main train station. Across the street from the only live music/dance club so it's loud but they don't play late so it's not that big of an issue. Elevator access to unit so that was very welcome. Grocery store and great pastry shop very close as well as all other shopping. The apartment itself had it's pluses and minuses. The bathroom situation is a bit odd whereas the master has an en suite however, they don't have a shower in that bathroom but rather a tub with a handheld spray. Kind of useless. The bunk room has the only shower but also has the laundry so having others use it where it's someone else's room is inconvenient. Thankfully we had spring like temps otherwise the place would be really cold. They used a small standalone electric space heater in the main room which even with our mild temps had issues keeping up with heating. Next to no supplies provided (sugar, oil, coffee, filters, wood for fireplace, etc.). It's all about location as it's located central to most everything. Easy walk to buses and not that far of a walk to Brevent/Flagere gondola. Very close walk to the Mer Du Glace train to glacier.

Nice appartement. No fans or air-con however, made it a bit hard to sleep. The restaurants closed at 11 pm, but did not tell that to their audience. Sleeping with all windows open was sometimes a bit noisy. Otherwise, a roomy and very practical appartement with all you need.

A few points in summary - no heating in 1 of the bedrooms - got very cold when it was freezing outside - top bunk bed unusable with ladder access constrained by low ceiling - no access to building from parking as car on parking space was blocking access - no light in building basement with low ceiling - dangerous for tall people - unstable stairs from basement where ski lockers are located - one small electric radiator in living room - not enough to have normal temperature in winter - shower room in bedroom with just a curtain separating partly the 2 rooms - washing machine/dryer in shower room / bedroom - unable to use in evening when children going to bed - almost no furniture to use for content of suitcases - not very clean (rubbish still in bins, some plates, mugs not clean) - building access door not secure (access code not working, lock not working, anyone can get in) - dangerous parking access ramp - very narrow and concrete wall with slippery slope - unusable in winter weather

Really nice place with a great location. The elevator was quite large for Europe so being on the top floor was no issue. Great view.

If you want to be in the centre of Chamonix it doesn't get better than this. Smack in the middle, close to buses and trains and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. With that comes the street noise but as two out of three bedrooms are facing the quiet side we weren't too bothered by it. The view more than makes up for it. You got unobstructed views in three directions which is pretty unique. You can see Mt.Blanc/Aug Di Midi, Brevent and Grand Montes without leaving the flat. We spent hours in a chair by the window with the window open and binoculars in one hand and cup of coffee in the other. As Chamonix sits deep in the valley most flats are a bit dark but as this one is on the top floor in a high building in the middle of the valley it has lots of light coming in throughout the day. The flat has a spot in the garage below which is a bit tight, dated, dark and crummy but very practical. Large ski locker/storage in the basement saves you having to bring stuff up in the elevator. Cham All Year looked after us and even sent out a friendly helper to help us with the radiators. Great service. We love this place and will be back for sure.

The apartment has a good sized living area with everything you would need for a week's stay. The main bedroom is a very good size, the other two are much smaller but manageable. Helpful to have two bathrooms (one ensuite), though it was a little annoying having one of the showers in the bunkbed room (and only a curtain to separate them). Location is excellent. Right on one of the main streets in central Chamonix and a stone's throw from various bars. Ski hire and bus stops are a few minutes walk away. There have been previous comments about noise in the street outside (affecting small double bedroom) but we found this to be absolutely fine as this dies down by midnight. Chamonix All Year were very responsive and helpful. Overall a great stay and would recommend.
