Beautiful accommodation and environs, close...<br>#128578; This is a lovely period property in an amazing setting. It is right across from Vernon’s centuries old cathedral and a two minute walk to the Seine. The place was scrupulously clean when we arrived. The kitchen has all the mod cons and the lounge is a haven for relaxation. The bed was very comfortable as well. We rented bikes in Vernon for an easy and beautiful ride into Giverny to see Monet’s house and gardens. Well worth it but go early to avoid the crowds. Vernon is a hour by train from ...<br>#128577; The separation of the toilet from the bath takes some getting used to but this is the convention in France.

Exceptional<br>#128578; This place is a gem. Such a beautiful, charming apartment in an old building right next to the ancient cathedral. The view from those windows probably has not changed in 500 years. The apartment is on 3 levels, very comfortable, very clean, nicely furnished and very quiet. It has a lot of character. It was a pleasure to stay in it. The people renting it were very friendly and helpful and they gave us recommendations for restaurants in town which we tried and we liked them a lot.<br>#128577; There was nothing that we didn't like
