Le calme, l'espace disponible, la décoration atypique, la piscine hors norme et tout ça au milieu d'une région pleine d'intérêt. Et Dominique présente tous les matins pour l entretien de la piscine....
It all went perfectly. We arrived at the location a little unsure of where to go but a friendly smile and wave was spotted and we were directed to the large and magnificent barn conversion, built of the honey coloured local stone but with many modern touches. The property was very clean and very well equipped (all we couldn’t find was a jug for carrying larger quantities of water)! The grounds were well kept and there was lots of space for our children to play - either on the table tennis table or to cycle their bikes around. The property is in a quiet and beautiful rural setting which needs a little car trip or pedal for provisions in nearby Salignac which has all one needs. A small town away from the main tourist honey traps (but still close enough)with a nice square and bar/restaurant, weekly market and local historical festivals and a historic area and castle that has an untouched feel (long may that remain the case!). There was also an excellent shop selling all sorts of local produce. Back to the property and the fabulous pool that was cleaned each day and a great area and facility for the family to be in every day during the hot weather we had during our fortnight stay. It was a truly great holiday. Communication with the owner was easy with some basic French from us and better English from Dominque, always with a ‘translate’ app to fall back on. Dominque and Eric were so kind and friendly we would not hesitate to recommend this property to have a lazy holiday or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area where is so much to do and see.
We had a lovely time in this lovely property in a wonderfully secluded area- but close enough to plenty of amenities.
La Borie est spacieuse, parfaitement entretenue et très bien équipée pour un séjour en famille. La très grande piscine chauffée a été très appréciée cet été où les températures étaient plus fraiches. La localisation est idéale pour rayonner dans la région et découvrir les nombreux sites du Périgord. Un grand merci à Dominique et son mari pour l'accueil et leur gentillesse.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Maison spacieuse et idéalement située pour visiter la Dordogne.
Tres belle maison bien entretenue et très agréable avec une superbe piscine Dominique et son mari nous ont très bien accueilli et sont très sympa et arrangeants Je recommande vivement
Bonjour et merci pour votre accueil durant notre séjour. Etat impeccable de la maison et grand confort des parties communes mais aussi de chacune des chambres (chacune personnalisée, décorée avec goût et équipé de salle d'eau et wc !). L'immense piscine nous as permis de profiter à deux familles d'instants privilégiés avec nos enfants. Pour ne rien gâcher la situation de la maison en plein Périgord noir nous apportait tranquillité et sérénité du petit déjeuner à tard le soir. Enfin la région est magnifique et le grand nombre de sites et villages à visiter aux environs font qu'un séjour d'une semaine est presque trop court ! Merci encore pour votre accueil !
