😊: Tastefully renovated apartment, everything works, complicated but precise instructions for entry and especially the garage. Quiet street. Ground floor, visually hidden from street through high bushes. Birds chirping all around. Enough tablets for the washer (a toploader, unfortunately, not a front loader) and for the dishwasher. Nespresso coffee machine. Kitchen equipment includes the basics, not sure if one can cook properly if needed, no oven, no deep freezer. Bed is comfortable. Good public transport connections to city centre (30’ bus + metro, tickets at kiosk or in bus).. 😢: Very narrow garage box, even for a mid-sized car. Only 2 coffee capsules and 4 sugar sticks, a little generosity would go a long way here. Black mosquitoes, also during daytime, I’m glad I had my own device to plug in. The one thing that really annoyed me was the total lack of friendliness in communication. Not rude, just in a mechanical and indifferent manner. The instructions are phrased military style, you must do this and you must do that. When I messaged the host that the shower doesn’t drain properly, I received a reply that it happens if it is blocked by hair. Technically this is correct, but I should’t be dealing with this, because proper cleaning includes checking for such matters regularly. At the very least I would have expected something like “sorry we didn’t notice earlier, could you mind giving it a try yourself?”, not to mention “we’ll come by and clean it” as most hosts would have done. So I had to clean a disgusting clot of hair myself (have photos). The host would be well advised to apply more people’s skills if they are earning money from hospitality..

😊: Ideal apartment on ground floor if a block of other apartments. Access easy. Apartment comfortable and well-equipped.. 😢: A little complicated to put the car in the garage, so we didn’t bother as we could keep the car in the nearby village with relatives we were visiting..
