La cabane du littoral

😊: Quaint accommodation off the beaten track somewhat, but quiet( although we were out of season). Other properties nearest were used at the weekend, but no problems. Well equipped property-everything we needed for 2 people( including 2 bikes( a bonus). Only a few minutes away( bike or car) from bar/restaurants/bakers. 15 minutes drive to a great beach( Plage Pereire). Air con was efficient where it was( see dislikes). All in all a great holiday in a really nice property and area.. 😢: A couple of minor problems. 1) There was no aircon in, what we regarded as, the main/biggest bedroom upstairs. As the temperature didn't drop below 25c every day we were unable to use this room and had to limit ourselves to a much smaller room downstairs which bizarrely had an aircon unit right next to the lounge aircon unit! ( I think one unit could have served both places) which would allow one to be installed upstairs. Again, weirdly, the extractor fan for the bathroom area ran all of the time 24/7!! quite noisy at night- the only way to stop it was by switching the circuit off at the mains( which also switched off lights/plugs in the bathroom( I'm sure it's a wiring fault which could be sorted..
