La Calade, maison de caractère à vallon Pont d'Arc

A very special place. Well furnished with all we required for a pleasant stay. A very beautiful terrace overlooking the valley was a highlight—we enjoyed the sunsets. Only downside was it was a short walk to parking. I would recommend keeping luggage manageable.

Die "Calades" (Sträßchen) sind eine kleine Attraktion in Vallon. Das Haus liegt in den Calades, die unmittelbar an die Fußgängerzone der Altstadt anschließen. So ist man abends in zwei Minuten mitten im Zentrum bei den Eisdielen und Restaurants. Dennoch ist das Haus sehr ruhig. Sobald man die Calades betritt, ist der Lärm der Fußgängerzone nicht mehr zu hören. Das Haus ist über viele Jahre sehr liebevoll saniert worden und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Die Badezimmer sind modern. Auf der Terasse kann man wunderbar frühstücken, mit Blick über alte Häuser und in die Natur um Vallon. Die Wohnräume sind über drei Stockwerke verteilt. Mit der Treppe muss man etwas vorsichtig sein und bei heißem Wetter kann es oben sehr warm sein. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hatte einige gute Ideen für Aktivitäten.

A wonderful house just a few meters from all restaurants and shops in Vallon . Perfect situated in a alley. You live in the centre but with privacy. Lovely house with everything you need for a vacation. Lovely view from the balcony and perfect little porch in front of the house to have morning coffee on. Three minutes to the bakery. Easy to get in touch with the hostess/owner of the house that shared some valuable information about the surroundings and what to see around Vallon. The weather was hot but thanks to the thick walls Of the house and that we keep it shout through the days the house was cool. I can warmly recommend this house for a stay I Vallon-Pont-Darc.

maison très agréable et atypique. Attention aux escaliers qui ne conviennent pas à des personnes ayant des difficultés de marches (personnes âgées, enfants en bas âge). La maison est en centre ville ce qui est très appréciable, par contre pas de possibilité de se garer devant la maison. La maison est bien équipée. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Une maison originale dans un charme ancien, bien entretenue. Une literie de qualité propre et de qualité. Deux salles d'eau spacieuses et fonctionnelles. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la terrasse ouverte avec vue par dessus les toits pour les repas du soir autour de la table en Teck. Nous y avons passé 2 jours agréables et espérons y retourner une prochaine fois.

Nous avons apprécié la maison de Frédérique , décorée et aménagée avec goût. Sa situation permet d'être en quelques minutes au cœur de la ville et des commodités sans avoir à prendre la voiture. La vue depuis la terrasse est apaisante. On aurait aimé discuter davantage avec Frédérique qui nous met facilement à l' aise et nous conseille sur les sites à visiter.

We had very nice 10 days in this wonderful house in the old town of Vallon. Frédérique and her husband are very friendly hosts and where taking care that everything was in perfect order when we arrived. The house itself is located central close to the church and the „main“ street of Vallon. We liked very much that it was just a 2 min walk in the evening to a restaurant of choice or going for a drink or the night markets. The surroundings is great with nice bathing and swimming spots in the rivers, ie in LeBeaume and spectacular hiking trails in the region. Big Supermarkets are close and the house has everything necessary to create a special dinner on the terrace on the first floor. The beds are comfortable and we had perfect sleep during our stay. Temperature in July was more than 40 and consequently the upper floors where somewhat heated up, The way from the parking at the street is a few “steep“ meters, but this was not a problem and you get quickly used to a small healthy exercise. The interior looks exactly like on the pictures and is in good shape-the house was perfectly clean. Thanks again for taking time and giving us very good advice to discover some secret spots. This is a beautiful, quirky property in the old streets of Vallon Pont D'Arc. The house and its district is full of character. The shops and bars of Vallon are very nearby and the Thursday morning market is a delight. However , we experienced communication difficulties with the owner. We had to press for the deposit to be registered with Homeaway. Also meet up arrangements were changed at the last minute and, as there is no internet connection, we were unable to liaise over these. So this led to akwardness.
