La Calèche at Domaine de Curé (for 2) with pool

We felt very fortunate to stay in such a beautiful and relaxing location while unexpectedly having to extend our trip in Carcassonne due to a family emergency. Our hosts were friendly and kind, and we enjoyed our stay with them immensely. We would love to return again!

Wir haben uns relativ spontan entschlossen eine Woche in der Wohnung "La Caleche" zu verbringen. Durch Corona haben wir eine Unterkunft gesucht, wo wir uns nicht viel außerhalb aufhalten müssen, um ein Urlaubsfeeling zu bekommen. Genau das haben wir mit dieser Unterkunft gefunden. Die Unterkunft ist sogar noch schöner, als auf den Bildern und es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und man merkt, dass sich hierbei sehr viel Mühe gegeben wurde. Der Zugang zum Pool war an diesen heißen Tagen Gold wert. Am Besten gefiel uns allerdings der herzliche Kontakt zu den Gastgebern Agathe und Jean-Noel, die immer sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und auch sehr angenehme Gesprächspartner in den Abendstunden waren. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

We stayed in the small gite for 2 people - very well done, super clean, and everything worked well. Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive, and were prepared to share all you needed to know about the area. The surrounding vineyards offered good walking opportunities and the medieval town in Carcassonne was a terrific find. Highly recommend Domaine Cure as an enjoyable, care free destination.

A charming gîte in a tranquil setting. Close to many Pays Cathare sites that can easily be explored from this location. Or...spend the day relaxing by the refreshing pool in the beautiful garden admiring the spectacular view. The gîte itself is modern and clean and the bed is very comfortable. Domaine de Curé is lovingly looked after by owners Agathe and Jean-Noël. I enjoyed my stay very much and hope to return.

This was our first visit to the area and we could not have wished for a more perfect place to stay. Rural, yet set in close proximity to Carcassonne and other beautiful villages and scenery-a true escape to the country, but still only a short drive for shopping. The Caleche was spotless, clean, comfortable and stylish. Jean--Noel and Agathe were exceptional hosts balancing sociability and privacy to meet all guests needs and wishes. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace most evenings over a glass of wine and felt very welcome. Sorry to leave but now relaxed and refreshed and can't wait to return. A perfect retreat in every way!
