Absolutely superb experience staying in Francoise’s villa. Great communication from the vendor. Amazing location, local villages are fantastic. Couldn’t have had a better week. Thanks Francoise!

Having stayed here when my children were you I often take my minds eye back to the house when I’m having a stressful time at work. It’s a truly chilled place to retreat from the rigours of London and enjoy the scenery & wildlife . Bugs and all !
This is exactly as me and my friends would build a summer family house. Tucked away in an impressive valley, next to a beautiful river, we spent an amazing week. Perfect surroundings to get on your bike and get a sweat on, have lunch in a cute village in the neighbourhood and get back to a cold beer at the pool. The best part is probably the outdoor bar/kitchen and adjecent pingpong table :) All the communication with the owner and Henri (at the entrance of the property) was fast and welcoming
We stayed here with friends, plenty of room for 2 families sharing. The location is idyllic, especially for nature loving families. We all agreed we have never seen so many butterflies as we did in the garden. So many rare and beautiful ones. You can see vultures everyday but we decided to go on a hike to get really upclose to them. The long circular walk from Le Rozier up to Le Cap and beyond is an amazing experience . Not for the faint hearted if you have trouble with heights though! We had s fantastic day of kayaking, did gorge walking in the river had a couple of perfect days splashing in the pool. The house is a real sun trap, perfectly private and the ideal escape from a busy life. It is well equipped with all that you would need. The two bedrooms upstairs were baking hot though fans were provided. A/c units in those bedrooms would make a massive difference. Hope to return one day, thank you Francoise for opening up your beautiful home to us. From the Dixon family.
A really nice comfortable house with plenty of space, set in a stunning sun-trap in the mountains with breath-taking views. Don't be put off by the circling vultures - go to the nearby vulture centre and see these amazing creatures (painstakingly reintroduced by environmentalists) up close. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We didn't even leave the house for four days.
Thank you so much for creating such a lovely house. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you so much for the welcome basket too.We loved sitting out on the terrace for a BBQ and of course enjoying the lovely pool. Unfortunately the weather was not great after the first 3 days so we never got to try the river . The location was superb and we loved watching the constant soaring of the vultures above our heads. There was loads to do in the area so we knew one week would not be nearly enough. We particularly enjoyed kayaking, the caves at Aven Armand, Castle Peyrelade and driving through the Gorges du Tarn. There are certainly some interesting roads including the drive down to the house! It was a perfect escape from the noise and bustle and we would love to return again.
Once bitten, forever in love with this beautiful house and location !! lazy days & evenings around the pool, barbeque, or in local restaurants and shops, walking, swimming and kayaking in the gorges and staring up into an amazing night sky, the view surrounding this comfortable well equipped beautifull house is nothing short of spectacular. there's activities everywhere for every taste within short distance drive from La Caze, just home from my second holiday at La Caze, i am spell bound by this house, i promise you won't be disappointed, Please Francoise will you have me and "family" back next year !?
Arrived to a clean and tidy home and thank you very much for the wine which we enjoyed that evening with our meal. Everything was very comfortable, the beds were the best I have slept in compared to all the other properties we have stayed in. It was a good location to visit various places of interest ie; the Vulture Sanctuary - which was just magic watching them fly above you. The Dangilan caves about 30 mins drive and the Wolf sanctuary at Les Loups du Gevaudan about 1hr drive. Carcassonne is worth the drive fantastic place to see. The restaurants in the nearest village were good. Henri's place above the property offered the best coffee. A very enjoyable 2wks and would highly recommend to friends or relatives.
