La Chaumière Vauban Vue Mer et Mont St Michel

We hand a nice stay at La Chaumière Vauban. As noted, it has a beautiful view and was a spacious home. Positives: Easy access to coastal walks; a good kitchen for cooking (we cooked all four of our nights); it had shampoo and body wash in each shower; our daughter loved the kids room with with two bunk beds; Marie is very responsive by WhatsApp.Nice touches: Marie put out a kids coloring book and markers, and she left some local treats to enjoy.Oddities: Very low door to master from dining room (hit our heads about once a day - my head still aches from this); tight maneuvering to park car on property (Marie insists on meeting, which is likely related to this).Negatives: Lack of comfortable outdoor seating facing sea view (outside of standing, we didn’t have a place to sit and enjoy the nice view); ants (it was spring time); lack of sharp knives for cooking; lack of lighting in master bedroom (room felt sparse).Things to remember for next time: No conditioner; host only provided one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one paper towel roll, and two trash bags (this would have been nice to know in advance for shopping purposes).

Beautiful property with plenty of room for family. Perfect stay in the countryside. What a view, we also walked to grange de tom the neighborhood restaurant and they treated us great. Marie the host met us at the property upon arrival and showed us the ropes.
