😊: Friendliness' of the owners the quite location and the easy walk along the canal into town. About 1 hour drive to Toulouse and Carcassonne. 1.5 hours to the coast. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.. 😢: Beds were a little low for our liking and the the stairs were quite narrow so might be a problem for people with mobility problems.

😊: Ideally situated in a calm location, really close to the Canal the Midi and the Castelnaudary city center. You can just park your car, and walk or cycle everywhere. The house was clean and well equiped, loads of kitchen tools, a hairdryer, ironing board... Airconditioning in all rooms! The little outside area is also really nice for al fresco dining. Friendly host, good communication. The beds are small (140*190), but I knew there were 2 bedrooms so we could each sleep diagonally without feet sticking out :-).
