La Courmonière

😊: The accommodation is authentic and has a nice view. 😢: There were so many flies getting into the house, we had to spend a lot of energy and time to keep that somewhat under control, at the expense of relaxing and enjoying. Also, the fireplace leaked a lot of smoke from somewhere in the chimney into one of the main bedrooms, which was not good.

😊: It was absolutely perfect! The dream house and stay.. 😢: Nothing..

😊: Lovely farmhouse in a rural location. Beautifully furnished. Spacious rooms and the guide that the hosts gave us could not be more informative.. 😢: We couldn't get the wifi to work, but we didn't bother the hosts about this as our phone signal was working fine anyway. There is no bath in either of the bathrooms, and the shower in one room is in what I think was previously a wardrobe space so not good for anyone over 6ft tall..

😊: Very complete with two nice fire places- cosy. 😢: Too muddy around the entrance of the house and hard to get to when it is dark and muddy. Key box is the second key box you see- ignore the first one at the granche.

😊: Fabulous situation on the edge of the village with views across fields with a lovely garden and terrace. Rustic inside with plenty of space and a great family feel. Close to champagne houses and easy access to Paris from Dormans.. 😢: Some of the steps and ladders to sleeping areas are a little steep and wobbly, not easy for older adults..
