La Croix Douillet

😊: We really enjoyed our recent stay at La Croix Douillet. The house was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities needed for a short break. The covered seating area in the garden was the perfect spot to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine and it was really well sheltered, so still felt perfectly cosy even when the weather took a turn for the worse. Although the house itself is in a very peaceful and rural setting, the town centre of Gavray is only a 15 minute walk away. The town has a small supermarket, a few restaurants, two boulangeries and a couple of takeaway restaurants. We both felt that the location was ideal for exploring the sights of Normandy with Rennes, Caen and Mont St Michel all just over an hour away by car. Wendy and Philip were very helpful and friendly hosts and the welcome basket on arrival was a lovely touch!.

😊: We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage with huge private garden with lovely patio seating area. We liked to sit there in the evenings after sightseeing in the peacful surroundings. The walk in shower was great as was having Netflix and Prime Video on the tv. The owners Wendy and Philip are a lovely friendly couple . We hope to return to this little gem in the future..

😊: Well equipped cottage spotlessly clean, quite location not far to the town. Outside area terrace was enjoyable in the evenings for dinning. 😢: Nothing I can think of.
