La Factory Saint Aignan

😊: Lovely village. Friendly locals . Coffee machine.. 😢: Very poor. Bathroom cracked tiles. Saniflow wc. Stained shower tray. Cobwebs( well perhaps to be expected in a village property) Creaky laminate floor. No tea towels or kitchen roll to wipe dishes.what did previous guests do? Disappointing for the money. Hopefully we left the property cleaner than when we arrived ..

😊: Ideally located right in the middle of town. Allowed to leave my bicycle in the hallway. Real coffee, bean to cup, machine arrived during my stay - excellent. Communications with the owners were clear and timely.. 😢: Didn’t realise when I booked that the village is totally shut on a Monday - none of the bars or restaurants open! Curtains in the main room are too small so privacy is compromised. Shower is not enclosed so the bathroom is somewhat flooded however careful you try to be. I consider the stairs to be slippy and dangerous - they are varnished wood. Net curtains in the bedrooms?(why?) Feels like the refurb was done on the cheap…….

😊: It was in a fantastic village and we loved that.. 😢: A few things missing like a fish slice ( we bought one) and breadboard..
