La Ferme de l'Abbaye - Four-Bedroom House

The house is big and sprawling, with beautiful generous bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely comfortable beds and a cozy updated kitchen. I definitely could have used instructions on how to use an induction stove and a convection oven, and the clothes dryer. Having those instructions in English would have been a bonus! I would have liked more kitchen tools as well. Those parts of the house we used were very comfortable, but the living room and large dining room felt somewhat like and afterthought- furniture that should have been comfortable but wasn't. Over all, we would be delighted to stay in this lovely home again if our travels took us toward Le Pin Au Haras.

Easy to get to and prompt response to any little questions<br>#128577; It’s a little noisy with trucks and some traffic is very fast on road. Outdoor furniture would really improve the place as there is only a picnic table which is uncomfortable. The garden is lovely so this would complete it.

Awful<br>#128578; The location and size of the property was perfect for our stay with friends.<br>#128577; Toilet and shower blocked on arrival, hot water coming from both hot and cold taps so shower was scalding hot. Dead flies and bees everywhere, the place had clearly not been cleaned or inspected prior to our arrival. Very poor communication from the management. No signage to help find the property, even a neighbour didn't know it was there! Someone turned up as we departed and gave us a bottle of champagne, not really enough for what was a dire experience.
