LA FERMETTE (3 Bedrooms-Sleeps 5 /6)

The photos do not do the property justice! The property is charming with all the facilities you could require. We all enjoyed our stay at La Fermette, and found it to be comfortable and relaxing. Carole was helpful from the start, and kept in contact with us at all stages (thank you!). Yes, there was no phone reception but, to the relief of our teenagers, there was wifi!! Rimboval is in easy reach of many places to visit, and we would recommend: Le Touquet, the WW2 cemetary at Etaples, Montreuil, and the Thursday market at Hesdin. I highly recommend this property for a great holiday!

We had an amazing time in Rimboval. We stayed in La Fermette and friends in La Ferme. Our teenagers were delighted to have space to themselves but also to chat and play with their friends there. Although they enjoyed the very big garden most of the time, they were stunned by the big playroom in La Ferme. Both houses are extremely well equipped! A variety of shops can be found 10 minutes away by car where you can try your language skills as well as the nicest cakes. There are so many things to do near by but we enormously enjoyed the trip to Le Touquet which has the most wonderful sand beach. Rimboval is the perfect stay for families, especially as it is so close to Calais. We will definitely return soon.

This 5 star property ticked all the boxes for us. Beautifully decorated, well furnished, perfectly fitted out and clean throughout. The log fire made a magnificent stay even more enjoyable. Have recommended it to friends

Nice houses set in a quiet village. The house is clean and well presented,and has all you will need for a relaxng stay. It is within reach of some spectacular beaches, and numerous tourist sites. The owner is helpfull and communications were good. We rented both properties for a large family holiday, and really enjoyed our stay.

I have just returned from my 3rd visit to Rainbow Farm this year and it was, as ever, a superb location for a late summer break. The house is clean, comfortable and in a good location for exploring northern France. Especially good for history enthusiasts: Crequy within 20 minutes, an hour or so from Ypres and the Somme and plenty of WW2 memorials all within easy reach. La Coupole- the German construction site for the V2 weapons is a MUST. After seeing so much bad news about travelling through Calais I was just a little apprehensive about my journey. This was totally unnecessary as like all my other journeys this last year I saw no trace of any problems. The owners of Rainbow Farm have worked hard to make this house a good holiday home with so many comforts that one does not always find in rental properties. La Fermette has been well restored from a traditional French farmhouse to a modern comfortable home whilst retaining some of the original features. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing break in northern France.

A very lovely cottage, not too far from the Euro shuttle. Drive took us about 45 mins(but I do tend to drive fast!). Bedrooms very large and en suite. I travelled with my two young daughters and a little yorkie terrier. Kitchen well equipped with all the necessary items you would need for cooking. Large fridge freezer, microwave. Had a gorgeous view of the church outside the kitchen window. I loved that we could open all the windows and french doors during the day. We had breakfast outside most mornings. A decked area with tables and chairs/bench. Large garden for our dog to run around in. Security gates to the entrance of the house. Plenty of car parking space. House was very clean. There were board games for a rainy day, plenty of books to read. The lounge was large with comfy sofas. We met the owners as they were staying in the cottage next door for a few days. Carol was very helpful with information and told us about a few festivals taking place near by. Which we went to. All in all the place is suitable for children/the elderly/families with teenagers. I would like to say a very big Thank You to Carol for helping me out when my car broke down! Her french was a lot better then mine and she helped to translate everything to the recovery chap.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The house was delightful, full of character and well equipped. Our children loved the chance to explore the countryside around the house (both in the extensive garden and the surrounding village) and we had a couple of fantastic trips to the beach. The footpaths and quiet roads around the property provided excellent family cycling and more demanding cycling was enjoyed by those that wanted it. We will definitely book again.
