La Fontaine Cottage - Proximité historique - Bayeux

😢: We couldn't get in the property for 2 hours and had a real hassle to get the code even though i had paid in full and the deposit links sent would not open .It is not 3 bedrooms! One of the "bedrooms" is a small mezzanine above the toilet accessed up some ladders , a "room" in my opinion needs to have a door on it. The wi-fi didn't work for half the stay until we discovered it was unplugged. I expressed my dissatisfaction weeks ago and am still awaiting a response.

😊: Very clean and cozy place. Perfect for our family visit with kids and adults. People very friendly and helpful, they anticipated all our needs. Really recommend this place!.

Beautiful property just outside of town. My only wish is that we used this house as more of a home base and stayed here longer. I originally booked this quite awhile back when the covered area was still part of the listing. It didn’t effect our stay though. There’s a nice yard out front with a table and chairs. You can even see the cathedral from the driveway. The beds in the 2 bedrooms we’re comfortable. The loft I would recommend for children or teenagers. It was a little difficult for adults to navigate and the bed was a little firm. Great use of space though. The house was well decorated with plenty of space. The washer and dryer was a plus. Plenty of towels provided.

Cute house, close to Bayeux, better than staying at a hotel
