La Grange de la Platte, Enjoy Tranquility in Our Beautifully Converted Cottage

The spacious holiday home is surrounded by a large, very beautiful garden. From the large pool you have a great view of forests and vineyards. It is just the right place for a family vacation. Our children found the holiday great. The little one finally learned to swim better. There is a lot to discover in the area: medieval villages, castles and cathedrals. Do you have a telescope or have you always wanted to get one? Bring it with you. The starry sky above the property is spectacular. There is hardly any light pollution. There are hardly any better conditions for hobby astronomy in Western Europe. Mathew and Jillian are always helpful, friendly and humorous.

We had the best family time during our stay with Matthew and Jillian. Great location, spacious house (La Grange), nice swimmingpool. All set in a beautiful scenery!

We arrived to a warm welcome from Jillian and matthew. Our breath was taken away by the views over valley from the swimming. Just a wonderful hidden jewel. We had so much for the kids to do and lots of good food, wine and places to visit!! Thanks for letting us discover this beautiful part of france from such a lovely house and grounds.

A Gorgeous Gite, surrounded by the exquisitely beautiful french country side. A warmly rustic real to the gites. A great family holiday, plenty to see and do, a car is advised ! Welcoming french villages to explore, and lots of fabulous restaurants and eateries

Matthew and Jill have truly renovated this place beautifully down to every detail. We love how they used glass metal doors everywhere to take advantage of abundant sunlight in the south of France. The view from the pool overlooking the gentle hills are our favorite spot at any moment of the day. We also like the fact that we could monitor our kids from our patio while they played at the pool. The gite is well situated in the sense that it is completely calm and laid back, but we could reach interesting places to visit in 15-20 minutes drive. Matthew and Jill are very helpful with places to explore and things to visit around the area. Jill's welcome package with homemade bread and local wine just made everything perfect right from the beginning. Thanks and we will be coming back.

We found La Platte ideal for our family, lovely location and very relaxing, even with two excited children! Matthew and Jill made us feel more than welcome, and their knowledge of the surrounding area and things to do was excellent. The gite has been renovated to a high standard, with an impressive living/dining room with lots of space available for all to move around in, comfortable bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Set in a quiet location with a lovely pool area and wonderful views with plenty of outdoor space for the children to run around in. Thank you Matthew and Jill for a wonderful holiday, we will see you again next year!
