La grange & l'arrosoir - four seasons in the heart of Chartreuse

Our host was easy to communicate with and was there to welcome us when we arrived and to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is located in the moutains and the views are wonderful!!Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Every bedroom had an attached bathroom. It does have lots of stairs which should be noted for those with mobility issues. The washer and dryer was a great addition. We loved the warmth of the wood stove. A wonderful place to stay for us!!!

We arrived cold and wet after a day on the bikes in the rain. The Gîte was cosy and comfortable with plenty of heating to dry out. We would be happy to return with the hope of drier weather. We could easily spend a few days exploring the region.

While we were hoping for snow you cannot fail to be overwhelmed by the dramatic scenery on route to The Grange. The barn conversion is delightful with lots of space for the family and mealtimes were great fun around the enormous table! We explored the area and managed to find snow everyday and Claire provided us with helpful recommendations - nothing was too much trouble. The local amenities were good and we enjoyed the local patisserie on a number of occasions! A lovely holiday in a spectacular part of France and one I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the barn. The location was just beautiful and the house very comfortable and lovely— especially the deck overlooking the mountainside. We especially loved that we had many options for beautiful walks right from the house. The village of Saint-Pierre D’Entremont was also charming.
