La Grange, la Lande St Leger

😊: Rarely have I meant a 10/10 so much: the place is absolutely beautiful and a haven of peace. Rather than a "venue", it feels like a home you're invited to stay in. The location is slightly remote (in a good way), so there's absolutely zero noise from anyone else. It's however easily accessible and only about 7-8 minutes' drive from the nearest town, with a large supermarket. Good internet, good bedding, good tea bags! Very nice neighbour who welcomes you upon arrival.. 😢: Nothing. It admittedly gets a little warm during one of France's worst heatwaves in history, but so would most places. Even then, with a bit of common sense, there were ways to cool it down and the temperature drops enough during the night that you can manage the heat OK..
