😊: All good everything was available nice setting parking was good.. 😢: Kitchen floor was constantly damp making it slippey..

😊: Great location near to many of the tourist locations of the Arras area. Very cosy and ideal for families. All the facilities you could need are there.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: The accommodation was very clean and tidy.Heating was excellent.Cooking facilities were excellent as was shower facilities.Nice welcome by David, biscuits and chocolates a nice touch.. 😢: At our ages ( 70's) we think that the dining table chairs could be a bit more comfortable. In the lounge area,which we thought rather small for six people, we think the sitting arrangements could be more comfortable..

😊: Beds were comfortable which is something.. 😢: One huge fact that is omitted is the garden is shared with the owners. There is nothing in the description to detail that. Access is by way of exiting the property by the front door and walking past the owners property, round the garage and into the garden. We didn't entertain it whatsoever. It's not a few steps either. On the second day the hosts had guests round and were using the garden. We booked a property with a garden that we could use. Not share. Given that it was the height of summer and very warm, the use of an outside space was essential. That leaves the use of the lounge. The lounge consisted of a two seater sofa, and two chairs. None of which were particularly comfortable. Ok if you are in a doctor's surgery waiting for an appointment. Additionally, the TV was a first generation flat screen so had nothing more than analogue reception and even then, one or two channels worked (via a plug in aerial booster). The house could sleep 10. I have no idea where 10 could sit. The kitchen utensils consisted of blunt knives and warped pans. The extractor hood's lights didn't work. Regarding the free toiletries, there where none. Likewise, nothing to use for the dishwasher. Whilst not the most expensive, this wasn't the cheapest of properties. With hindsight we'd have looked elsewhere. We even cut the four days down to 3 and got an earlier crossing back home. Don't get me wrong, the property wasn't awful, it just fell short in too many areas and I think the online photos and descriptions are a little misleading. If you don't plan on doing anything but sleeping in the property it's fine. If you want to relax and use the garden facilities, just be aware that there is no direct access and you may share it with the host..
