😊: The fridge.. its quite new. But placed incorrectly so the outside runs hot.. 😢: This house is NOT ready for rentals. It is DIRTY, and shows years of neglect. It is filled with clutter from the previous owner. We could not find a place for our stuff because all drawers, and cupboards (and there are a lot of those) are filled with the most diverse oddities and dust. Each pan, bowl, or utensil you pick, is all worn, dirty and/or rusty. We washed everything we touched thoroughly, but some things simply can't get clean anymore. Most doors (like the front door, jam halfway open, beware!). Everything you touch is brittle and vintage (not in a good way). But the owner has put up signs in almost every room warning for extra costs should you break or take something). Then the trains... I don't know about the other reviews but you clearly hear EVERY train passing. You can even feel the house shake as they pass. Especially the freight trains every few minutes. Backyard is neglected and under the plumtree the ground is riddled with animal feces. Preventing you from going near it. You can see a fancy shower with jets in the pictures, but dont get your hopes up. They dont work. The place smells stale and old. In one of the picture you might notice an airco unit underneath the back door, but thats not an airco, but a heat pump, which cannot be used anyway because the owner has placed a locked plastic case around the controls. Summer nights are hot, and opening a window exposes you to either freight trains running all night or loud traffic just in front of the house. Beware when crossing this road with small children. People drive fast here! Beds are basic, with spring matrassen that are reasonable, pillows are a joke. (And somehow they creak!?). The house has no private parking spot. I have used booking.com for a lot of my B&B trips, but this was the first one i seriously consider demanding my money back. We had the opportunity to talk to the owner afterwards, but it was clear his and our standards differ quite a lot..
