La Madeleine,Agréable appartement au calme

😊: The host seemed nice, it could be a really good property but it is not properly managed or maintained.. 😢: It was dirty, spiders webs everywhere - many in the shower room. There was mould in the bathroom, and the toilet had not been cleaned, the shower head was unclean. Kitchen items were dirty - the dish rack was filthy, the drawers weren't clean, the utensils were poorly maintained, the kettle and coffee machines were encrusted with limescale, there was insufficient cutlery, the washing machine was unusable. The garden was a disgrace, grass not cut, weeds everywhere so the outside space - a key reason for booking - was unavailable. Another of the reasons we booked is that a shuttle service was falsely advertised - this doesn't exist, the host works and was not available to collect us. We queried this and he advised that the service was optional - for him! We curtailed our stay early..
