😊: Perfect location to explore the area, and Les Eyzies has everything you could want. The house was clean and comfortable and the pool was a huge hit with the kids. We ate in the hotel’s restaurant twice and the food and service were excellent.. 😢: I felt that a guest book with info on recycling/the code for the pool gate and a few other small things would have been useful. The garden is a good size but I felt it could have benefitted from a little TLC to make it a more inviting area to use..

😊: Perfect location by the river and with all the restaurants in town at hand. Make sure you visit La Maison for a great meal (owned by the same person who owns the house). 😢: As per previous review comments we weren't expecting air conditioning, but just to confirm it doesn't have it. However the property is a big stone house so is remarkably cool compared to outside on hot days and it does have fans..

😊: Good central location. Clean and with all amenities.. 😢: No AC (unlike advertised) and it was very hot when we arrived (over 35 C). The pool is not heated and rather cold, which didn’t deter our kids who made good use of it. Parking is tricky as very tight for an SUV and next to a spiky rose bush. Word of advice for the owners: it would help to have a short set of check in instructions available before arrival. We arrived around 8pm and there was no one to welcome us and no one was answering the phone on the number provided, it’s only when enquiring at the nearby hotel that we realised they were the owners and we were supposed to get the keys from them. Also a bit of practical info would help, eg the house is on a narrow 1 way street but on Mondays it’s blocked due to the weekly market and hence direction is reversed..
