La Maison de Karen Chocolat

We loved our stay at Karens home. Its a 20 minute drive to Lyon. Very comfortable bathrooms and bedrooms with excellent quality linens and amenities. Excellent grocery stores and restaurants nearby.

We arrived late and only spent one day at the property, but very much enjoyed our time there. The grounds are lovely and the kids enjoyed the pool, albeit briefly because of inclement weather. Fortunately, we had scheduled a chocolatier instructional session, with our gracious host and accomplished chocolatier, Karen. We not only got to make our own chocolate confections, but learned a thing or two about chocolate, as well. Well worth the visit and a very relaxing stay.

My family and I rented the entire home from Karen for my sister's wedding. It was great to each have a spacious room and our own private bathrooms. The large kitchen was great so we could cook our own meals. There is a grocery store within a few miles/km of the house so its very convenient. Highly recommend staying here whether you are looking to rent the entire place or just 1 room.

Karen was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The house is in a good location very close to ammenities. We would highly recommend and would stay there again.
