La maison de la petite lande

😊: Big house, lots of space, two bathrooms, nice terrace with outdoor furnishings, well equipped kitchen, cleaning products. Efficient appliances, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave. Great location, it looks a bit isolated but in fact it's close to a lot of nice places, beaches and villages. It was an ideal basis to explore a beautiful area.. 😢: The double beds are tiny and not so comfortable. This is the only serious remark. The rest is suggestions for further improvement. The house has been partly renovated but kitchen and the downstairs bathroom are outdated. However they work perfectly so no big deal. They could be more generous with towels and put some shower gel. Cleaning could be deeper in some more hidden places like the laundry room and window frames..

😊: This was just what we wanted. Peace and quiet and a fantastic, enclosed garden for our Springer Spaniel to run around in. Lovely area to sit out, with big umbrella for shade and comfortable loungers. The house stayed cool inside during a heatwave in our first week because of the thick walls. Great bath to relax in. The owner was very quick to respond to a couple of things - our power cut off during a storm and he came to sort the fuse box. Also the oven didn’t work - he came to try and fix it, but wasn’t able to. We had 2 fabulous meals at the new creperie, JAM, in St Jean du Doigt.. 😢: The only thing I would say is that we could have done with a larger bed, but we managed. The chairs were very comfortable but we missed a sofa to lounge on..

😊: The house is really nice, with a well-equipped kitchen, large rooms and comfortable bathrooms with windows. The garden is fantastic. The location is perfect for visiting Northern Brittany and the town of Saint Jean du Doigt is small but charming and welcoming. We found great the locking/unlocking door system (Tedee). 😢: The only problem we had with the Maison de la Petite Lande is related to the beds. Too small for two people, with two king size the house would be perfect, in our opinion.

😊: The house was beautifully clean, comfortable and quiet. It was beautifully decorated and a lot of work has obviously been done on the house. The hosts were helpful and responsive. The house is set in beautiful countryside and is within easy driving distance to the sea.. 😢: There were a few minor improvements that would help to make an easier stay. We are aware that this is a new venture and that these minor things are likely to be remedied, given the helpfulness of the proprietors...
