From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and tidiness of the entire place. Marie, our gracious host, truly went above and beyond in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready with a warm smile and fantastic recommendations for local trips and visits that proved to be well worth our time. After being presented with the option of an English or Continental breakfast, we opted for the Continental and whilst the homemade marmalade, honey and locally made apple juice were truly exceptional and added a lovely personal touch, we found the variety of pastries somewhat limited. We expected a broader selection than just a croissant and some bread ...
