La Maison des Grèves, gîte de charme

La Maison des Greves is a lovely property, ideal for either a relaxing break or as the focal point for visiting the many historic sites which the area has to offer. The large garden was perfectly suited to our plan to unwind for a fortnight, and the fact that it is shared with the gite next door was not a problem. The views across the bay to the Mont St Michel are spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend, although the two flights of stairs between bedroom and loo are perhaps not best suited to those who need to pay a 'visit' through the night. Look out for the 'gardener' - the automated grass-cutter - which has a habit of getting stuck under the hedge.

Nous avons passé deux nuits après le Mont St Michel et avant de rejoindre la famille pour l'ascension. Nous avons passé un bon moment au calme, nous avons fait des barbecues et mangé dans le superbe jardin. Nous avons visité Avranches et le musée du scriptorium qui est fabuleux. Très bon moment, je recommande ce gite

We loved it, very clean and exactly as described. Remote quiet location was excellent. Couple of very small suggestions. Instructions in the home in English would be helpful and as we arrived quite late a bottle of water would have been appreciated. Overall outstanding tres bon!

Lovely quiet place with far reaching views of countryside and Mont St Michel. One bedroom in attic with views to the rear. Lounge on middle floor with views of Mount, large sofas and cosy. Downstairs shower room in kitchen/diner accessed via garden. All amenities catered for. Lovely place and Francois replies regularly. Watch out for robot mower, cute. Only 10 minute drive to nearest town Avranches.

A great place to stay, good location for exploring the local area. Gite is fully equipped and it is furnished to a good standard would definitely stay again someday Great Host's, good communications

Just as shown and described. It was fun being in the country in an old stone cottage, watching lambs across the fence. Le Mont-Saint-Michel is visible from the windows and yard. Avranches, which is close by, is a charming small city.

We loved our stay in Le Val-Saint-Père. The house is simply charming. It is situated in a very quiet area and has a great yard. You can even see Le Mont-Saint-Michel from there. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. Manon (one of the owners) was very helpful and accommodating. If we ever visit the area again, we'll definitely come back! Thank you Manon for your hospitality. We loved our stay at your house!
