La Maison en bord de Vilaine, Centre de Rennes

😊: The location and house layout was nice. Note that one of the bedrooms is downstairs.. 😢: 1) For one night's stay we were required to give EUR1000 deposit - hugely disproportionate and came with extra admin on what was meant to be a nice relaxing break. 2) The kitchen had an ant infestation - cooking was therefore not a clean option and they got all over my stuff. 3) There was no information on waste disposal until receipt of an email on my final morning informong me that I'd need to go out to find a public bin. It was annoying but not too much hassle for me as I only stayed one night but to get the surprise that your last morning in Rennes would be spent hunting the streets for a bin was not a nice end to the stay..

😊: Convenient to the city centre. Parking outside the property. Light and airy feel. Nice space to relax outside. Excellent shower.. 😢: Lake of information about the area or recycling requirements. Lake of towel in the cloakroom. Poor quality of towels and pillows. No fans in the bedroom during 30+ degrees. No cushions for the outdoor seating. Ant infestation in the kitchen..
