La Mésange de Sarlat - Apartment-Apartment-Wet room

😊: Great location, well appointed and comfortable apartment..

😊: The place is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Sarlat. We stayed 6 nights and used this as a base to explore the region.. 😢: You need to be aware there are a lot of steps which isn't so obvious in the photos. I was told a couple of weeks out that cleaning wasn't included in the price and would be 40 euros extra. Towels were extra at 6 euros each. So 52 euros more than what we we expecting. The pillows could be replaced. Also, there is so much wine in the area and no wine glasses to enjoy them with, maybe provide some wine glasses..

The apartment was really nice, with a comfy bed and a good kitchen/ lounge area. However, trying to locate the property was difficult and finding somewhere near to Park was also a problem. When we eventually, sorted that, we were then met with 3 flights of spiral stairs.Being an older, retired couple, negotiating these with luggage was not easy. Had we known about them, we probably wouldn't have stayed here.We attempted to contact Naomie, but the number given was not recognised.

😢: - the apartment was very cold despite heating - the apartment was missing basics such as towels or basic kitchen supplies such as salt and pepper - the refrigerator was not working - no clear information about the WIFI connection - the communication with the host was very bad (despite connecting multiple times, we did not receive any answer; the relevant details for entering the apartment were shared very late and important information were shared in a Google doc that was not accessible).
