Lovely house in the remote countryside Lovely four bedroom house in the quiet countryside, around an hour from Bordeaux. Six or seven minutes drive from the nearest village. A bit more to the nearest town. In the middle of vineyards. House is old, recently renovated, has character, a bit dated and musty in places but that adds to the charm. Nice pool although small enough. Nice terrace outside the kitchen for breakfast, it is in the shade in the afternoon/evening. Sprawling open countryside field. No aircon which was only a problem for a day or two when it was very hot at night. Four bedrooms with lots of room for a big family. Selection of games and books (in french). Kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery.
