😊: Cleanliness, well equipped accommodation, comfy bed, straightforward check in. 😢: Toilet is not on the same floor as bedroom, air-conditioning is only available in living room.

😊: The bed.. 😢: The location is quiet, with easy access to surrounding area (by car only!). However, our stay was disappointing for several reasons. The apartment had a noticeable musty/moldy smell throughout our stay. Access to the property was difficult due to the number of stairs, and there was an additional staircase inside leading to the bedroom, which may be challenging for some guests and was not convenient for my 69 year old Mom. Cleanliness was also an issue. After walking barefoot for only a few minutes, the soles of my feet became dirty, which suggests that the apartment had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. We also requested a late check-out of just one additional hour, but this was not accommodated, “because of the cleaning time for the next guests”…..

😊: Remote quiet rural location. Local people friendly and great bistro 1 min walk away. Lots of places of Local interest but most are a 30 - 40 min drive away.. 😢: Could do with en-suite bathroom by bedroom.

😊: A wonderful, hidden-away place of comfort in a location, when you look at the photos and arrive, you would least expect. I missed seeing the instructions about the keybox and other information before arriving, so I caused some confusion by phoning the owners and having some language difficulties, but it all got sorted out. The facilities in the gite are fantastic. We only stayed one night as we had to move on. Once we settled in, we had a very pleasant walk around the village with our umbrellas in a thunderstorm. The airconditioning was appreciated, and the washing machine. We brought food so we could make a meal. Left the place clean and tidy. Great place to stay for rural atmosphere and tranquillity. Highly recommended.. 😢: The steep, angled stairs down to the bedroom need a handrail. I didn't like to have to put my hands on the walls for balance..

😊: A clean and well-equipped cottage in a lovely little village. So nice to stay in a real home after being in hotels. It had everything we needed and the host was really quick to respond to any questions. We self-catered but the bistro looked very popular. There’s nothing else nearby so make sure to bring supplies.. 😢: It’s worth knowing that the bedroom is downstairs and the stairs are fairly steep. Also, not a dislike as such, but the directions only make sense if arriving from the east (we arrived from the west). Find the bistro on the square and follow them from there and you’ll find it easily. We got there in the end though!.
