La Parenthèse

😊: The house is larger than expected, with 2 king-size double bedrooms and a small children's room opening off one of them. The decor is unique, with a 'deer' theme. The house is bright, there's an outdoor seating area and an enormous garden, which my dog loved! The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed comfortable and everything sparkling clean. The location is countryside ,but close to Rennes , and only 2km from Betton, with all amenities. Wonderful!. 😢: The shower is in a bathtub, with a fixed glass panel along the side. Although a grab rail is provided, it's difficult to squeeze in and dangerous climbing out.  This, combined with a very steep stairs, makes the property unsuitable for anyone with a mobility impairment. Children need supervision! The house was chilly overnight and in the morning. There were 'preset, do not touch' signs on the rads..

😊: Lovely place, nicely decorated and lots of space for kids to run around. It is a 7 minute drive to Betton which has a great playground and a bar/pizza restaurant which was really nice so the place was easy to get dinner as well as tire the kids out.. 😢: The listing clearly states that it has a hot tub, both in the title of the listing and within the listing itself stating a nordic bath. However we got an email the day before we arrived to state there was no longer a hot tub offered, and this was the case since March. This was really annoying as we changed our route because we would have loved a hot tub for the evening, we would have preferred to stay closer to Mont St Michel otherwise. The kids were also really disappointed, and my 5 year old daughter cried when I told her - great start to a long journey! When I complained to the host, he just asked what did I expect when I'm paying €80 euros a night...but yes of course I did as I wouldn't expect someone to lie in their listing! Why not just take this off? He seemed like a nice chap otherwise. So I couldn't score the place higher than a 4 due to the false advertising meaning that we were disappointed before even arriving. The duvet cover also smelled funky which I'm hoping was due to how it was stored (put away damp) rather than any other reason! Photos are from the end of our stay (hence the pile on the bathroom floor)..

😊: The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean. It felt very cozy and comfortable. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome..

Retour aux sources, re connection,...<br>#128578; Tout, mention spéciale pour la décoration, 18 ème un goût certain pour chaque objet et la thématique cerf... demander pourquoi. Et le point d'orgue est le bain nordique, et conseil en soirée en harmonie avec le coucher du soleil avec les chants d'oiseaux.<br>#128577; Rien, tout était pensé idéalement pour l'accueil des hôtes, et les plateaux de produits étaient excellents .
