La Parenthèse - le chalet

Good accommodation Directions were good and it was easy to find. Good parking with an electric gate. Nothing in walking distance so you definitely need the car. Lovely setting - it backs on to the lake and hills - really pretty outlook. Train station was 10 mins away that took us directly to Paris (68 mins). The gite itself was comfortable but so, so hot! The temps were high in France (36/7) but as the front of the gite is all glass it was like a greenhouse. The accommodation itself is fine - nice little kitchen with a big fridge, coffee machine and washing machine. The upstairs bedroom is in the roof so you can't stand up so I'd recommend that only for little people! You couldn't open the windows upstairs so it was incredibly hot up there so my daughter spent one night on the sofa. The bedroom downstairs is basic but looks out on the beautiful view so that was lovely to wake up to. Fans were provided in each bedroom but did little to cool the room down so I'd say if going at the height of summer to be prepared for the heat or perhaps air con units could be provided. I paid the cleaning fee but received a text on the morning of leaving saying whilst I'd paid I must leave it clean anyway. We'd spent very little time there so there wasn't much to do - but having paid the fee it was confusing to be told we had to clean anyway.

Séjour bien-être Havre de paix sans vis-à-vis en bord de Seine où des péniches glissent sous nos yeux. Exposition ouest permettant d'assister au coucher de soleil depuis le canapé du salon ou la terrasse ou aussi allongés dans le lit de la chambre. Chalet cosy à la décoration Zen reposante. Logement propre, confortable et en très bon état. Equipement très complet (électroménager, mobilier, ustensiles de cuisine et couverts), très bonne literie et sauna biplace très agréable. Vélos à disposition pour des promenades le long de la Seine. Tout invite à la détente et à la relaxation. A recommander.
