La pause allongée - Fontainebleau Hypercentre

😊: Super location, easy to get to from the bus stop, lots of restaurants, cafes and bars, close to Chateau and the Forest (which sadly due to fires we couldn't visit). Great fans in each bedroom to keep us cool, and all the windows opened up to create a lovely breeze.. 😢: The second bedroom would benefit from small bedside lamps or less harsh lighting, we had to buy scissors as the kitchen didn't have these and bedding could benefit from an upgrade, especially the pillows. The place was clean, but we did we kept our shoes on inside as the floors felt a bit gritty..

😊: Easy to find, good location, good apt size, good light in the rooms. 😢: Toilet plastic seat was not well fixed to the toilet; bathroom cleanness was not appropriate; no hand towel provided; shampoo and shower gel left from previous tenants with hair on them. Air in the apartment was stuffy. A bed blanket in the wardrobe was all rolled up in a messy way, so probably left there by previous guests and not washed / ironed..

😊: We had everything we needed, including coffee. 😢: The single beds were a little noisy, but the double was fine..

😊: We had a really nice stay, the apartment has a superb location and all the things you need are there (kitchen, utilities, furniture, room for the kids) and it’s beautiful.. 😢: It was not clean. The bedsheets were very smelly / not washed, towels also smelly, there is black mould in the shower and we had to vacuum clean (and clean the vacuum cleaner as it was full of dust already), we also found a piece of broken glass under the sofa. We were there with kids so the floors need to be clean and safe..

😊: Nice size appartment for 4, nice bug table for card games in the night. Can cook simple meals. Location is 5 minutes walk from the castle and a supermarket is located on the next block. Parking was good. Just get a week parking pass for the whole city for 15 euro. On Sunday parking is difficult due to market and general business in the city. Would recommend..
