La pause Ansouisienne

Caroline was a perfect host. She greeted us warmly and showed us how everything worked inside the house. The property itself is perfect for two and we had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was clean and very well equipped The shower room was of a superb standard and the bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The garden had full sun all day but shady areas are always available. It is fully enclosed and perfect for pets. It was an easy walk to the village bakery in the morning where we found some wonderful local delicacies.

Amazing house. Loved how clean it was and Caroline is the most warm and welcoming owner. Great linnens, the mosquitonetting is fantastic and the view is to die for. Will be coming back!

This property is finished and equipped to a very high standard and the owners are rightly proud of it. Check in and out was friendly and efficient. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is on hand and within 5 minutes there are local high quality shops, a supermarket within 15 minutes. The view of the Chateau Ansouis is absolutely spectacular and there is sun all day with a well placed pergola under which to seek shade; it is very private and not overlooked. There are plenty of easily accessible and interesting day trips too. Absolutely perfect getaway for two.

The house was wonderful - new, modern and tastefully decorated, with a lot of nice details. We felt right at home. The kitchen had everything, even an oven and dishwasher. And everything was extremely clean, not a spect of dust anywhere. The view from the very beautiful and green garden is spectacular and it is very quiet - you only hear birds and frogs and crickets. Ansouis is a beautiful place, quiet and full of lovely little stores, a patisserie, an old castle and big fields and trees. Thank you so much for everything David & Caroline!

This villa is just the right size for a family of three or four, so you do not need to pay for beds you do not need. The property is brand new, beautifully designed and well equipped, no compromises made by the owners. The highlight of the villa is its incredible view on the castle of Ansouis from the living area, terrace and garden. The surrounding area has hardly any traffic, so its very quiet. You are within 15 minutes from some of the loveliest villages in Provence, and a 1-1 1/2 hour drive takes you to the beaches of the Mediterranean, the incredible gorges of Lac St Croix, and the historical cities of Aix, Avignon and all the other sights of this incredible region.
