😊: An excellent little house. Quirky but comfortable..

😊: By chance we met the cleaner who was lovely and very helpful when we thought she had the key then we found out we had it.. 😢: It’s a poor conversion of a one bed into a 2 bed. The wc flush is broken and constantly flushing. The shower is useless and is only hand held and low pressure. The sink basin isn’t fixed properly. The stairs are poor quality and almost as narrow as the temporary divider wall between the main bedroom and the wc. In summary a cheap and bodged conversion. Also twice the cost of the other booking.com places we used on this holiday..

😊: The location was great. The property was self catering and and very well equipped. It was good to have outside seating. Useful information was provided by the owner, who included a bottle of cider in the welcome pack.. 😢: Two of the drawer fronts in the kitchen were becoming detached. There was only an overhead light in the single bedroom, and the small table light on the desk didn't seem to work. Not all adult travellers would find the single bed with sides comfortable..

😊: Location was very good. Some communication was good.. 😢: The second bedroom was appalling, it looked like a monks bedroom. The bed was the top of an old bunk bed and very low down, the walls had holes it them, like it needed finishing and there was NO DOOR! No wonder there were no pictures of that room on their booking site. The corridor to the toilet was so narrow I almost got stuck in it. Our friend had to come into our bedroom to shower in the ensuite! The whole place was cold, eventually I found the boiler controller hidden high up on top of the fuse box. To reach it I had to stand on a rickety chair, which was not much fun as I had a replacement knee less than 4 weeks ago. The fridge was also not turned on, but when we did turn it on it froze everything like it was a large freezer. Probably the worst booking.com experience I have had. I have no idea how it got such high ratings..
