La Pause Pétillante

😊: Very well appointed in a quiet neighbourhood Compact apartment but had everything you need. 😢: There was nothing. The stairs weren't a problem but I font remember reading that apart6eas on the 3rd floor. This could be relevant to some guests.

😊: Very quiet location perfect for us to rest. Very bright, clean and perfect free parking in front of the apartment. Nice contact with host online..

😊: The location was good, walking distance from the city centre. It was also nice to have the parking right in front. Getting into the apartment was a breeze. The apartment had all the stuff you would expect (a water kettle would also be nice to have).. 😢: The floors were swept but obviously not washed (we didn't bring our slippers, which meant that walking on the floor in socks made the socks quite dusty and dirty). We also had a bit of a communication issue, as the host messaged us only in French, which meant we had to translate everything into English. Lastly, there was a slight miscommunication about the arrival time. During the booking, I was prompted to choose our arrival time. I chose 11:00 as it suited us the best. But a couple of hours after making the booking, I received an automated general message about the apartment, which mentioned that all the check-ins are from 16:00. That confused me a bit - why did the booking ask me about the preferred arrival time if all the check-ins are from 16:00? I messaged the host but did not receive a reply immediately. Therefore we changed our plans to arrive after 16:00. The host messaged us the day after that it will be possible to arrive at 14:00 but at that point we were already underway and couldn't change our plans any more. So i guess general communication from the host side could be better..
