La "Pépite" Du Vieux Lyon

😊: The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, full of character and comfortably met all of our needs. The location was perfect, close to Old Town and public transport. The views across the river fabulous. Sabrina was a wonderful host. She was great with communication and provided us with lots of helpful information about Lyon. She even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy!. 😢: 4th floor location via stairs may be an issue for some people. We were fully aware this was the case when we booked and wasn’t an issue for us. Stairs are wide.

😊: Excellent location in stunning old Lyon! Responsive and friendly host. Comfortable beds. Superb view.. 😢: The stairs to the 4th floor were tough with luggage or when tired, but they were worth it for the view! Also helped us work off all the incredible food we’d eaten before climbing up to the apartment! So, you do need a reasonable amount of fitness to stay here..

😊: The views from the apartment were incredible! It was stylish and in the best location in Lyon. We loved our stay!. 😢: We loved everything about this apartment! Be prepared for lots of stairs so it won’t suit someone with mobility issues. A couple of small suggestions: a mirror in the twin room would be helpful, plus a shower curtain refresh.

😊: The location was really great. It was right next to the Old Town, and we were able to explore the entire Old Town very comfortably on foot. The famous shopping street with many stores was also only about a 15-minute walk away. The host’s communication was excellent. He allowed us an early check-in, and whenever I sent a message, he replied very quickly. The stairs were mentioned everywhere in the reviews, and we were aware of them before we went. Since we knew this in advance, it wasn’t a problem for us at all.. 😢: Unfortunately, the cleanliness was a bit lacking. The areas under the beds and the drawers were quite dusty. It seems that the heating system turns off automatically when the temperature reaches a certain level. Because of this, I had to message the host each time to turn the heating back on. To his credit, he always responded quickly and turned it on right away. However, waking up to a cold apartment in the morning or coming back to a cold apartment after being outside was quite inconvenient for me..
