La Petite Anse - Plage - Wifi- Host Provence

😊: It was within walking distance to the sea and supermarket.. 😢: The apartment looked nothing like the photos advertised on Booking.com. Based on the images and previous reviews, we expected a clean, decent place to stay, but on arrival we were genuinely shocked by the condition of the apartment. Everything was covered in dust and it was clear that no proper cleaning had been carried out for some time. The balcony was also filthy, with a dirty rag left behind on a shelf. Basic amenities were lacking – there was no soap provided in the bathroom and only two coffee pods were supplied despite our three-night stay. Cutlery & crockery was filthy and chopping boards unusable (costs nothing to replace) We were also required to provide credit card details for a €300 damage deposit, which felt unreasonable given the poor condition of the property itself. Half the lightbulbs had blown so it was dark inside. The access door code was unreliable and often had to be entered multiple times before the door would unlock. The shower was incredibly small, to the point where there was barely enough room to move or even bend down comfortably. Overall, this was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. The description and photographs were misleading and did not accurately reflect the reality of the apartment. I struggle to understand how this property has received positive reviews. In my opinion, it deserves no more than a 2/10 rating. We had to clean the apartment to be able to stay here, I should be charging the host a cleaning charge! I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to both the cleanliness and the accuracy of the listing..

😊: Place was spotless, well maintained and very comfortable. The balcony over looking the woods was the perfect shaded spot to unwind with a glass of red, on a warm summers evening, rounded off the day perfectly.. 😢: Lack of secure carparking was the only issue..
