😊: Ideal location with easy parking nearby. Cute traditional cottage but beautifully decorated- quirky but nice. 😢: Only thing to improve would be a garden with a terrace but we knew that when we booked so that’s the only thing which would make things perfect!.

😊: Contact with the hosts was quick and clear. Kitchen was well equipped with premium quality items. Loved the atmosphere in the house. Parking was possible in the same street free of charge. Great location with quick access to the vibrant city centre.. 😢: One side of the bed was a bit worn which caused rolling to the middle.

😊: Great location and lovely old building. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Close to town centre to walk into. Great period property that was nicely presented. 😢: The main bathroom / shower was accessed through the little bedroom upstairs.

😊: The location of this property is perfect for a stay in Bayeux. Walkable to all the main attractions. The home is very cute and nicely decorated. There are ample recommendations and instructions provided by the hosts.. 😢: I hate that I have to write a poor review, honestly we really wanted to like this place. Everything smelled musty, however. The second you walked into the house it smelled as if the doors and windows haven't been opened in ages. It is an old house, but seems like it was recently redone, and we were surprised as to how stale the smell was. Even in the kitchen, opening up the dishwasher and the refrigerator, you couldn't help but have the musty odor follow. In addition to that, the mattress in the 2nd bedroom was worn enough that my husband and I kept rolling towards the middle with the edges raised, leading to a very uncomfortable night. Unfortunately we ended up leaving a night early due to the ongoing odor (even after trying to air it out with open windows) and the uncomfortable bed..
