La Petite Grange, Gîte Classé dans les Jasnières.

It’s easy to see why this property has consistently brilliant reviews. The accommodation is more spacious than in the photos, it’s comfy, extremely clean with everything we could possibly need. Being in a lane with just a few other cottages, the gite is very quiet, is surrounded by its own garden and has views over Jim’s land. Where you will be entertained at breakfast by his sheep, Bee, Bop and Allula, who are adorable, along with the chickens and the copious amount of birds that frequent the garden. As we were there at Christmas we visited the Chateaux that decorate to a different Christmas theme every year. They are truly beautiful and well worth the trip. Jim is a delightful host and we cannot recommend his beautiful property enough, particularly the joy of a log fire every night in Winter. We must also mention the thoughtful touches that we had on our arrival such as homemade preserve, apple juice, subtle Christmas decorations, an lit log burner and the beautiful hand tied Christmas sprays that we found in the bedroom. I had to bring them home! This gite is a real find, book without hesitation, thank you Jim and family

This was our 4th stay at the property over last decade. The property is set in a hamlet in the Jasnières vineyards. Host Jim and Ophelia are always friendly and helpful. The gite is well equipped with an outside area with bbq, table and chairs, sun loungers etc. The local area is great for walking and cycling, bikes can be hired at the tourist office in La Chartre-sur-le-Loir a couple of miles away. The Loir valley is beautiful, with a number of Chateaus, whilst much less busy than the Loire which is a 45 minute to a hour’s drive away, making the places like Amboise and Chenonceau within easy access.Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Beautiful renovated gite in the country side, very well equipped. The host is very thoughtful. Close to many castles and lovely towns.

We had a lovely stay at the gîte in the beautiful Loire Valley. The accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Our happy dogs could explore its garden safely.The location was good for exploring the charming towns, vineyards and châteaux in the area. Overall, everything was just as expected, and we enjoyed a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

We have just came home from a week stay over Christmas. When we arrived the fire was lit and looked very homely. The little cottage had everything you need for a week stay. The walking on the old railway track was amazing. Good for walking or cycling. Can't fault the stay. Thank you.

Gîte plein de charme, des propriétaires à l’écoute et forts sympathiques, accueil chaleureux. Avons passé une semaine au calme ; gîte confortable et plein de charme ; idéalement situé pour visites culturelles et courses. Nous recommandons ce gîte. Tout petit bémol : les toilettes au 1re étage, il faut donc être alertes…

We had a great stay in la petite grange. If you love nature and living in the countryside and have no fear of driving a little bit more in order to visit „bigger“ hotspots you might be right here. The house was cosy and offered everything you need to make yourself at home.

Hemos disfrutado mucho de la estancia en La petite Grange!. Aunque está un poco apartado de las principales atracciones del Valle del Loira, sin embargo su ubicación es buena para ir a Le Mans, Chartres y Tours o si se quiere visitar el Valle de rio Loir. El entorno es muy tranquilo en medio del campo y lo bonita y acogedora que es la casa ayuda a relajarse cuando llegas después de un día de visitar Castillos y monumentos. Tiene de todo: completo set de Electrodomésticos, leña para la chimenea, juegos de mesa, TV, una impresionante colección de DVD, un patio delantero y otro trasero y un sinfín de cosas mas. Los propietarios son muy amables y nos ayudaron mucho a la llegada y siempre que los consultamos (Ophèlie ademas habla castellano!!). Se aparca en la misma puerta (ideal para descargar maletas, comida, etc.) En el terreno vecino hay ovejas y gallinas (que hacen las delicias de los niños) y también hay juguetes para los mas pequeños. Un estancia fenomenal que seguro repetiremos!!
