la petite maison aux Bonnets

The property was ideal. Warm, clean and with everything we needed provided. We should have booked for longer. We never ru out of places to visit in the Vercors.

Joli petite maison indépendante dans un coin du jardin de la propriété. La maison étant à l'ombre, elle est restée très fraiche, malgré le temps exceptionnellement chaud de cet été. On était là pour faire des randonnées et, ayant bénéficié des conseils du propriétaire, on a été ravi des excursions réalisées. La localisation un peu à l'écart de Villard fait que le calme règne dans le hameau. En bref, excellent séjour.

nous avons apprécié l indépendance de la location avec son barbecue. tout était au top sauf un peu chaud dans la chambre. le propriétaire était charmant et nous a conseillé de superbes randonnées et nous a prêté des cartes. Formidable ! merci.

We stayed in this lovely house. The people were very nice. The surrounding is beautifull and very quiet. There is al lot of beautifull nature in the (direct) surrounding. We can adivice this opportunity.

We spent a great week in the recent heatwave at this lovely, quiet gîte. Rustic and quite simply furnished, it is well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, wi-fi etc) and comfortable. Everything worked fine. Seemed bigger than the photos suggested. We are a couple but there's plenty of room for a family. Don't forget to bring bed sheets (we did!). Views across valley and surrounding peaks from some of the upstairs windows and there is a small, grassy garden with table and chairs - we ate outside a lot. The owners live opposite, speak some English and were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, suggesting several local walks/hikes, and historic sites, etc. The property is in a hamlet a couple of kms from Villard de Lans and there are cycling and walking tracks almost outside, plus an Intermarche supermarket not far away! Ideal base for a quiet retreat or for active, outdoor people - lots of action sports and outdoor activities in the area. Also good for fauna and flora (black redstarts nest in the barn opposite). Happy memories from our week's stay there.
