La Petite Maison derrière la Gare

😊: Très propre, bien équipés, propriétaires adorables, très confortables !. 😢: Seul bémol en cas de forte chaleur, il fait très très chaud dans l’appartement.

😊: It was a perfect, bijou resting place for a traveller. Well placed to explore the town centre.. 😢: I couldn't connect to the network despite trying every possible iteration of the WiFi password. The 5g signal was strong so it wasn't an insurmountable issue..

😊: Excellent little apartment for one person, with a great shower, comfortable bed, and very modern and clean. The host is very friendly and responsive to queries. I particularly enjoyed strolling by the Charente river, just around the corner.. 😢: It's a little awkward to access the apartment, as it's a new build tucked into the back yard of an older house: you have to go through the main house to get to the back or unlock two side gates for a rear entrance. But this wasn't really a problem and it guaranteed there was no street noise..

😊: Excellent welcome by text and CCTV. Good directions to find and enter. Very good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Close to River Charente, food shop across the road.. 😢: Nothing to fault this bijou of a property..
