Week end reposant Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire. Le gîte est bien équipé, on se croirait à la maison. Malheureusement la saison ne permettait pas encore de profiter de la piscine mais nous reviendrons.

Wonderful family holiday Beautiful countryside and tranquil peaceful location. The house is very well equipped for a comfortable family stay, plenty of inflatables to keep the kids and adults happy in the swimming pool, table tennis, darts, full poker set, croquet set and plenty of games of petanque. Fully equipped for indoor and outdoor dining with a bbq and plenty of fuel for several bbqs. This 19th century cottage is full of period features, original bread oven ( we made pizzas!), log burner in the lounge, the original well in the cellar, beautiful stone flooring and modern bathrooms and kitchen. Nearby artisan boulangerie with freshly baked bread, croissants and pain au chocolat, simply the best breakfast! The hosts were very informative about local events ( we went to a fireworks display in Le Chauchet, Saint Domet Wednesday market, petanque competition in Maute, mini golf and tree top adventure with zip lines in Pierre Jaumatre). The horse riding school at Villebret is excellent and very reasonable prices for 1to1 riding lessons. Good shopping in Montlucon and Limoges. Chateau de Villemonteix is a 15th century privately owned castle and well worth a visit. Etang de Chaux is good for swimming and has a good snack bar with crepes for 1.5 euros. Lake Vassiviere is only an hour's drive and has beaches, inflatables and many water sports to keep the whole family entertained.

Un super séjour Un gîte très agréable, fonctionnel, agréablement décoré, propre … nous avons pu profiter de la piscine. Accueil au top ;) la troupe reviendra !

Reposant Malgré le temps, nous avons passé un bon séjour bien reposant. La maison est très bien équipé comme si on était chez soi. La piscine et le matériel à disposition étaient au top, on s est beaucoup amusé.

Excellent property and service Absolutely beautiful property. Very clean and lots of personal touches as well as very well equipped. We have stayed in a lot of gites in France and this has been by far the best. Excellent service and we look forward to staying again soon.
