😊: Ornans is a pretty village with small shops and restaurants. The Gustav Courbet museum is within walking distance and is a real treasure! The Dino Zoo is 15 minutes by car and suitable for young children. The mountain views are stunning. Highly recommended!!.

😊: Big spacious house with living space in two floors and washing machine in the cellar. Street side parking and no extra charge for our dog. Good location for nearby walks in the forest/hill area. Ornans town is lovely, well worth a visit..

😊: We really felt at home at Sonia's place. She gave us a great welcome and tour. You can tell she sees her property and her service as a reflection of herself. The house was warm and comfortable when we arrived, which is much appreciated. The house and property had plenty of space, a place for everyone in our family of seven. Everything was quite clean and neat. The kitchen was very well outfitted. Even though it was cool and wet for much of our time, we were still able to enjoy the backyard and barbecue. The outdoor space would be a great place in the warmer months. The location is good, close to a bus stop but just far enough away from the center of town to be quite peaceful. A good bakery and other shops (including a chocolatier) are within a reasonable walk; supermarkets are a little further than I like but still very walkable. There is a walled public greenspace with a playground and soccer goals just east of the property. And it's an easy hike up to the top of the cliff overlooking the town, even with a stroller; it makes for a good afternoon walk for the whole family. Ornans is a pretty town; the way it is situated along the river just makes you want to stop on the footbridge and take it all in as the water sweeps past below. From the layout, decor and location to the amenities and service, this house just feels good. Don't hesitate. Highly recommended.. 😢: Of our entire three-month trip through Europe, I would say this place was the least objectionable for a short stay, and we stayed at some really great places! If I had to find something to critique, it would be: 1) distance to a supermarket on foot (not a concern if you have a car) 2) wi-fi would occasionally drop our connection 3) my personal preference would be to have one actual double bed somewhere instead of all singles Seriously, I am thinking pretty hard to find things to critique. This really is a nice place, especially for a larger family or group..
