😊: All newly renovated to a high standard. Very clean. Great location, near the station and a supermarket. Well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed was exceptionally large and comfortable. Wonderful black-out blinds. The owner was very accommodating when we needed to change the number of guests.. 😢: Like some others, we didn’t have a good experience with the entry arrangements. Booking.com sent more than one email with the link to access the building. But the link only worked via one of the emails. The owner was available on the phone to advise. We found the internal door to the apartment challenging to open. It was our first experience with this kind of locking system/ access, and it wasn’t something we enjoyed. We had our digital-native young adult daughter with us, so please don’t blame it on our age! Small points: we would have appreciated a broom as well as a dustpan and brush, and a cloth to clean the washbasin- its shape made it difficult to rinse just with the tap and one’s hand. The chopping board needs replacing- there are small strips of plastic peeling off, which are a health and environmental hazard. But these are minor issues:).

😊: Excellent apartment....but only if technology works. Human backup is minimal. 😢: Ability to communicate in international languages is a must especially English for those running a business of accommodation for international travellers. Secondly, the assumption that technology will work 100% is not a tenable proposition. So a WA communication channel in English is a MUST. Though I was finally provided with this, it took immense persuasion to get the WA contacts...and that too as a favor as I was told. I was locked out of my room as the tech enabled lock did not work...at 1900 hrs, totally exhausted. No one was available at site or WA.Had it not been for an extremely helpful neighbour who helped us get in I shudder to think what would have happened that night to two senior citizens who are fully conversant with tech. So I strongly suggest a human back up close by if they use a tech enabled key. With a phone number to reach out in at least couple of international languages..

😊: Very well eqipped with simple but esssential items (a medium size measuring jug would be useful). Super clean, and an evidently fairly new appartment We were lucky, I think, to get a free parking space in a nearby road Great access to station for Paris Big towels for shower!. 😢: Maybe a mirror in the bedroom would be good..
